About ANZORRG

Overview

The Australia and New Zealand Organ Replacement Therapies Registry Group (ANZORRG) is a collaborative research and registry network focused on improving outcomes in organ donation and replacement therapies across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Established in 2025, ANZORRG is based at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) in Adelaide, South Australia. ANZORRG is an independent program supported through collaboration with registry partners, professional societies, and clinical teams across the region.

ANZORRG connects registries and research to support data collection, analysis, and reporting. ANZORRG provides shared infrastructure, data platforms, and governance frameworks for multiple registries and projects, while building capacity for registry-based trials and national reporting.

Our Registries

The Executive Operations Team, supported by the broader ANZORRG Leadership Team, provides oversight across key operational areas, including:

  • Registry business operations
  • Data intake and management
  • Information technology and development
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Communications and compliance
  • Research, equity, and access

Reporting Lines

ANZORRG’s activities and outputs are overseen by the ANZORRG Executive Operations Team, working under the strategic guidance of each Registry's Advisory Committees and Working Groups.

The Executive reports to SAHMRI for human resources, facilities, and infrastructure matters, and directly to Australian Organ and Tissue Authority and the New Zealand Ministry of Health according to funding agreement requirements.

Our Staff
