Privacy and Security
ANZORRG supports registries that collect information about people receiving dialysis, organ transplants, or tissue grafts in Aotearoa New Zealand. This information is collected in line with the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and securely transferred to the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), where it is stored on a protected network.
We take privacy seriously. Personal information is kept safe and is only shared with ethics approval. The information helps health services, researchers, and government improve care, and any data shared does not include personal details.

This map shows all parent renal units across Aotearoa New Zealand. Parent units are the main centres responsible for coordinating care for people receiving dialysis and transplant services, and they often oversee satellite dialysis facilities and support access to home therapies.
