Transplant Epidemiology Group (TrEG)

Overview

The Transplant Epidemiology Group (TrEG) is a research group within the ANZDATA Registry that aims to harness the power of big data to improve knowledge, policy, and practice in solid organ transplantation.

Using advanced epidemiological and biostatistical methods, the group analyses registry and linked datasets to answer critical research questions about transplant outcomes, access, and system performance. By translating data into actionable evidence, TrEG aims to drive practice-changing insights and improve the lives of people requiring organ transplantation across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
