ANZDATA 50th Anniversary Celebration

ANZDATA turns 50 in 2027!

In February 2027, ANZDATA will mark a significant milestone: 50 years since the Registry was established in 1977. Very few clinical registries anywhere in the world have been maintained with this level of continuity, coverage, and trust for five decades. The result is not simply a long-running dataset, but a shared resource that has helped the kidney community understand what is changing, what is improving, and where effort needs to be focused next.

To recognise this milestone, we will be hosting the ANZDATA 50th Anniversary Datathon and Symposium, held 17–19 February 2027.

This event will bring together ANZDATA’s community to reflect on the journey so far, celebrate shared achievement, and focus on what comes next, including the next generation of kidney research and researchers.
