Overview

The ANZDATA Advisory Committee oversees data collection practices, including the frequency, quantity, quality, and methods of data collection, while also guiding the dissemination of registry information through reports and publications. In addition, the committee provides input on the structure and membership of ANZDATA’s working groups and helps maintain strong relationships with clinical stakeholders and data contributors.

Advisory Committee Membership

The ANZDATA Advisory Committee Membership comprises the following membership;

Chair; term three (3) years
Deputy-Chair (chair-elect); term three (3) years
Members of ANZDATA Executive Operations Team
Convenors of all ANZDATA Working Groups
Representatives from contributing Renal units including,
- Four (4) general members from contributing units (including at least one member from New Zealand and one early career nephrologist)
Kidney Health Australia – CEO, general manager clinical research or delegate
Australia and New Zealand Society of Nephrology (ANZSN) - President/Council Member
Renal Society of Australasia (RSA) - nominated by RSA from EOI
ANZDATA Consumer Advisory Panel - Chair and/or Deputy-Chair (or delegates) are invited for the August annual meeting to give an update and raise items for Advisory Committee consideration
